Kathryn Krase is a second-generation academic. Her path to become a tenured faculty member and accomplished writer was paved by her father, Emeritus and Murray Koppelman Professor Jerome Krase of Brooklyn College. She is aware of the privilege she benefited from in witnessing her father's professional development, and learning through his mentorship.
